Remain enthusiastic and creative in your journalistic approach to raising awareness of various dance teams, dance crews, dance companies, and dance events. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Duties:
Maintain daily company schedule designated by Administrative Director and assist in meeting monthly company goals. EVENING DANCE CAMP COUNSELOR
– Starting Pay: $25/hour
Duties:
Serve as a dance instructor for the Subjective Dance Club Development Program, SDCDP. Create and fulfill lesson plans for dancers of ages 8 through adult in dance styles specified during your interview. Remain flexible and capable of teaching in person, on-line via live stream, and/or via prerecorded video. Remain teachable and open to learning from others. Remain respectful in delegating tasks to your Assistant Dance Camp Counselor. Display consistent leadership qualities while remaining a team player to other staff members and a mentor to all campers. ASSISTANT DANCE CAMP COUNSELOR

Duties:
Operate as assistant to dance instructors of the Subjective Dance Club Development Program (SDCDP). Provide camp with healthy eating habits and physical workouts when asked. Fulfill lesson plans, camp goals, and new deadlines as they arise. Remain prepared to lead classes for dancers ages 8 through adult in dance aerobics and other dance styles specified during your interview. Remain flexible and capable of teaching in person, on-line via live stream, and/or via prerecorded video. Remain teachable and excited to learn from others. CONTENT CREATOR

Create original blog posts on www.subjectivedance.net that spark conversation, educates our viewers, and/or inspires dancers. Find/share dance events by SDCVA club members without bias for the host’s ethnicity, culture, organization, or background, as well as, promote events and programs produced by the Subjective Dance Club. DANCE INSTRUCTOR

Specify in your application what style(s) of dance you are most comfortable and experienced with teaching. Please be specific and DO NOT just say “Hip-Hop” unless you mean the commercialized dance style of the 90’s and early 2000’s. It is now 2023 and there are a lot of styles under the umbrella of “Hip-Hop”. We are currently accepting applications and continuing to match instructors with the proper available teaching opportunities.
